Summary

Supported Living Worker

Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 p.a. pro rata)

Fixed Term Contract, 9 months - Full Time (37.5 hpw)

Typical day as our Supported Living Worker

  • Help customers with daily living tasks to build independence and achieve their goals.

  • Encourage the customer to explore her local community

  • Helping customers with daily in activities like cooking, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining tenancies.

  • Assist with personal care, medication, appointments, hobbies, college, or work.

  • Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.

  • Spend quality time with customers – chats, cuppas, and collaborative support with colleagues.

You have

  • Level 2 or above in social care (or willingness to work towards it)

  • Passion for supporting customers to live their best lives with attention to detail

  • Experience caring for others, professionally or personally

  • Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and be resilient

  • Flexible, person-centred approach to meet customer needs, including varied start/finish times

  • Comfortable with technology for updating support plans, learning, and team collaboration

Job details

  • Occasionally our customers' needs mean your start and finish times may change. Where we ask you to be flexible, we will always try to reciprocate  

  • You will work 37.5 hours a week over 7 days including sleep in shifts

  • Confident using technology for plans, training, and collaboration 

  • You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that
