Summary

HTA Design is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in Architecture, Landscape Design, Urban Design, Interior Design, Sustainability, Planning and Communication Design.

Working alongside Project Leaders and Architects, the Architectural Assistant, Part II, will assist in the design and delivery projects from concept to completion, ensuring high standards of design and documentations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Architectural Assistant to develop their skills and gain valuable experience within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

​To be considered for the role the successful candidate will have:

- Relevant UK postgraduate qualification in Architecture, or overseas equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 years’ practical experience working within a UK based architectural practice.
- Some experience working on medium to large-scale housing design would be highly beneficial.
- Experience in creating architectural visualisations, renderings and concept visuals is highly desirable.
- A keen interest in housing design, and a knowledge of UK design standards and statutory requirements.
- Able to create designs that satisfy both aesthetic and technical requirements.
- Strong visual and graphic design presentation skills with advanced proficiency in all or some of the following software packages: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe and Affinity suites.
- Able to use various computer software programms including but not limited to: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, to create supporting materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate professional judgment and to take the initiative and make appropriate decisions in unpredictable circumstances.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships.
- A calm disposition with good organisation skills and the ability to manage time well and meet project deadlines.
- Able to use initiative and work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Delivers to a high standard, using own initiative and taking responsibility for own actions and outcomes.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and dedication to personal development and a commitment to Architecture as a career.
