Summary

This is an exciting role for three experienced Team Leader's to join a company who are in a period of growth.

To be successful in this role you must;
*Be motivated and have the ability and skills to lead a team
* Be a car driver and be willing to obtain business insurance
* Have at least two yeas experience of working within a children's home setting or equivalent
* Promote the care and support to children in line with good practice and the The Children's Home Regulations (2015)
* Hold a QCF Level 3 in relation working with children, young people and their families or equivalent

The main tasks:
To safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people we care for and support.
To support the home's management and take the lead on shifts.
To work in accordance with Imagines’ values as explained in our statement of Purpose
Uphold our good Ofsted rating (May 2025) with an aim of becoming outstanding
To work in accordance with policies and procedures
To ensure that children and young people we support are treated with respect, dignity, and equality
To lead on and create young people’s placement plans and risk assessments
To act as and/or oversee Key worker arrangements for named young people, to oversee the co-ordination of their plans and to improve the quality of their life.
To act as the lead person for the overall co-ordination of support for children
To ensure that all matters relating to health and safety checks and audits for the house and relevant H&S staff training are complete to a high standard

Be willing to participate in an on call rota

Must be flexible
Be able to work a 24hr shifts with a sleep ins
Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and alone
Must be committed to the safeguarding and development of children
Must be willing to promote an excellent quality of support to children
Must be willing to contribute to a nurturing and homely environment.
Must be able to participate in supporting young people with daily tasks, such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and activities.
Must be able to work in partnership with other agencies. Such as, social workers, youth support workers.
Must be able to record and report daily activities and escalate concerns appropriately
Must be able to adhere to policies and procedures
Must have a full driving licence and be willing to access drivers business insurance

We are currently looking to recruit 3 Team Leaders
Full time hours - 37.5 hrs (plus 10 sleep in's a month) shifts include evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
These shifts will include evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Night shift allowance paid (23:00-07:00am).- £84 per night

Essentials
The candidate must have at least two year's previous experience of safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.
The candidate must have a full driving licence and be willing to provide proof of business insurance.
The candidate will be subject to part of safer recruitment checks.
The candidate must have a satisfactory Enhance DBS check. If the candidate does not have a portable one then this can be applied for, and any successful candidate must be willing to sign up to the DBS update service
The candidate must be able to provide two satisfactory references
The candidate must be willing to work overnights and weekends
The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to promoting equality, be non-discriminatory and be willing to promote anti-oppressive practice
