Job Description:

As a General Cleaning Assistant atWorthy Down Barracks, SO21 2RG,you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is integral to the well-being of everyone on site, and you'll be an essential part of our team.You'll have the opportunity to interact with our armed forces personnel daily, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain cleanliness in allocated areas in line with work schedules and standards.

  • Provide cleaning services support across the site using equipment and supplies as directed.

  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and follow health & safety procedures.

  • Complete required training and follow all instructions carefully.

  • Maintain excellent customer and client relationships through professional service.

  • Attend team briefings, meetings, and development reviews.

  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear the appropriate uniform/PPE.

  • Report any accidents, near misses, or faulty equipment to management.

  • Care for equipment, materials, and supplies responsibly.

  • Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as requested by management.

What You Bring:

Essential:

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Physically able to perform manual handling tasks related to cleaning duties.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working within a military environment.
