Summary

Support Worker – 12 Month Maternity Cover

Location: Frederick Street, Stockton-on-Tees
Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term 12-month maternity cover
Pay: £12.21 per hour


Make a Real Difference

We’re looking for a caring and committed person to join our friendly team at Frederick Street, Stockton-on-Tees on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) where you'll be supporting four individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and multi-sensory impairments in a Supported Living Service.

Your support will help them live independently, confidently, and joyfully—at home and in the community. Whether it's assisting with daily routines or joining in on fun activities like ice skating, discos, or walks, you’ll play an important role in making every day meaningful.


About the Role

We support a diverse range of individuals in the community and in their own homes – each with their own unique needs and goals. You’ll provide 1-1 support and help people live more independently by supporting with:


Personal care
Cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing
Shopping and budgeting
Making and attending appointments
Supporting social and leisure activities
Helping to achieve their personal goals


This is a person-centred role, where you’ll be empowered to tailor your support to each individual’s needs, routines and aspirations

Working Hours

Working times will include a variation of shifts including days, evenings and nights, across all days of the week.
Staff would be required to do sleeps as part of their contract.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
