Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Plumber will:
1. Deliver a plumbing maintenance service in connection with the Upkeep void property and housing maintenance service and elsewhere as required.
2. Provide a reactive maintenance service in domestic properties.
3. Carry out agreed performance monitoring procedures and quality control.
4. Be conversant with current Health and Safety at Work Legislation and ensure that all plumbing activities comply with relevant legislation.
5. Assist in the carrying out of Risk Assessments
6. Carry out any other duties appropriate to the post and in line with the needs of Upkeep.
7. Use PDA device effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS
City and Guilds Plumbing /heating qualifications or equivalent.
Willingness to undertake appropriate training
Certificate of competence
to carry out Legionella Risk
Assessments
EXPERIENCE
Experience of working in a multi- trade environment
Experience of supervising apprentices
