Summary
E1 Order Picker Truck Operator
Location: Batley (WF17)
Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently operate an E1 Order Picker Truck to pick, move, and store goods within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate an E1 Order Picker Truck in accordance with training, site procedures, and health & safety standards.
Accurately pick customer orders as per picking lists, RF scanners, or warehouse management system (WMS).
Ensure picked goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
Load, stack, and replenish stock in designated storage areas.
Carry out basic pre-use checks and report any faults/damages to equipment.
Work effectively as part of the warehouse team to meet daily targets.
Follow site safety rules, including correct use of PPE and adherence to traffic management systems.
Assist with general warehouse duties such as pallet wrapping, housekeeping, and stock counts when required.
Must Have:
Valid RTITB / ITSSAR-accredited E1 Order Picker Truck licence (in date).
Experience of operating the EI Order picker truck in a warehouse environment
