Summary

Day to Day Duties to include, but not exhausted: To perform high quality dental nursing in a safe and effective manner alongside the dentist, within the scope of practice of a dental nurse. Confident and competent dental nurse with working in a busy, and sometimes unpredictable environment. Good organisational and time management skills here is invaluable. Being able to think on your feet but remaining polite and professional is essential, there are sometimes difficult situations that may arise where you may need to take the lead. Adaptability is essential. Confident in working with variety of different staff, it wont always be the same team members your rostered with. Ability to calm and reassure nervous and anxious patients a large portion of our service users havent seen a dentist in a long time and usually come to us as a last resort. Its essential you are able to work within a team and be a trustworthy member. High standard of infection control and be up to date with HTM01-05. To establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team, supporting & helping one another. Contribute with suggestions and ideas to make improvements in quality and outcomes for patients. Assist with any reasonable duties requested.
