Maintenance Engineer – Clayton Glass (Sutton-in-Ashfield)
Location: Orchard Court, Huthwaite, NG17 2HU
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm)
Salary: £38,309–£43,309 (DOE)

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to help keep our production equipment running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement projects. You’ll work with a range of systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, ELV circuits, and PLC I/O logic, using WCM tools to identify root causes and improve reliability.

Essential:

Electrical maintenance/engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
2+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing
Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read technical drawings

Desirable 'a bonus to have':

18th Edition certification
IT literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Full UK driving licence
Strong communication skills
