Summary
Trainee Parachute Packer – Aerospace Industry
Location: Near Uxbridge (Own transport required – no sponsorship available)
Salary: £25,500–£26,500 + overtime
Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00 | Fri 08:00–12:00
Benefits: 9% private pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
We are looking for a motivated Trainee Parachute Packer to join our well-established aerospace company. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in folding, packing, or handling textiles in a warehouse or clothing factory environment. Full training is provided, along with clear progression opportunities.
As a Trainee Parachute Packer, you will:
Learn to pack and inspect parachutes and components to exacting standards
Follow technical instructions and use hand tools accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Take advantage of overtime opportunities to increase earnings
What we’re looking for:
Experience in packing clothing, textiles, or similar items
Stable career history and reliability
Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive tasks
Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
Team player with a positive attitude
Own transport required due to remote location
