Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking a fully qualified Approved Electrician to carry out electrical installation work, focusing on conduit and containment systems on a commercial site. The role involves the installation of electrical systems in line with current regulations and site standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test electrical systems to 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS 7671).
Install conduit (metallic and plastic), trunking, tray, basket, and other containment systems.
Pulling cables through containment and completing connections to panels, isolators, and distribution boards.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
Carry out first and second fix electrical installation work.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and site procedures.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Assist with testing and inspection as required.
Record and report completed works to supervisors.
Requirements:
JIB Gold Card
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Experience with containment systems: conduit (EMT, Galv), tray, basket, trunking.
Ability to read technical drawings and install as per specification.
Own tools and PPE.
Preferred:
IPAF
Previous experience on commercial fit-outs and office
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00pm
Overtime available/weekend work as required
