Summary
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of working a minimum of 3 days per week at either our Cardiff, Newport or Pontypridd Campus.
The Marketing Officer will contribute to and deliver the Engagement, Research and Commercialisation department marketing plan and event promotion for all types of interaction with our business community.
The post holder will support the planning and delivery of day-to-day B2B marketing activities, coordinating targeted campaigns that promote USW to key partners and stakeholders. This work will strengthen employer engagement, create new opportunities, and directly contribute to USW 2030 priorities and critical success factors (CSFs).
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for updating social media channels and ensuring appeal to a business audience. They will provide marketing support to events taking place across all USW campuses, developing business leads looking to access USW’s equipment and facilities, celebrating the value and impact of USW industry partnerships, working across marketing channels to enhance reputational reach. The post role may also be asked to provide marketing support for the wider Engagement, Researach and Commercialisation department.
