Summary
Appletree has a
large customer base spread across the North West although primarily our clients
are within the Fylde Coast.
The role includes supporting 6 Financial Advisers that work with Appletree. This
includes arranging client appointments, preparing documents for meetings and
managing diaries.
The Apprentice will
be expected to work within a busy team environment.
The role includes:

software functions and

Customer
service which is the primary focus of everyone at Appletree
The ability to
multi task is important, have a positive attitude to work and self-development
is key.
There will full
training provided and regular reviews to ensure satisfactory progress is made
and that both parties are enjoying the working relationship which is very
important.
Training
STANDARD & LEVEL
The successful candidate will work towards completing the Level 3 Business Administration Standard from the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education. Delivered by Blackpool and The Fylde College offering expert tuition and exceptional facilities.

Your B&FC apprenticeship is made up of several different elements and each one reflects your individual abilities and career goals. Our expert tutors and assessors have relevant industry experience and will support you to achieve all your goals.
Off-the-job training
Developing your skills at work is called on-the-job training, 20% of your apprenticeship (equal to one full day a week) will be ‘off-the-job’. This might include attending College, tackling projects, online learning, coaching, shadowing, or training for your job.
Stacks of support
Assessment mostly takes place in the workplace. When you start, you will be allocated a skills coach, who will visit you at least once a month to guide and support you and help you to plan for your future. We will also provide you with specialist
Qualifications required
Level 3 a minimum of English and maths grades A*- C (9-4) (or equivalent) are desirable OR willingness to complete Functional Skills Level 2 are a requirement to have or to achieve before EPA Gateway.
Skills required

Computer
skills, ideally aware of & used Microsoft Works
·
A
confident telephone manner and able to work under pressure
·
A
good standard of English and punctuation as the role will include email work
and letter creation
Prospects
Progression in pay will be based on skills and progress made in all
areas of the job role. Appletree are a small company but reward all staff that have
a strong desire for personal development and increase their understanding of the
Financial Services industry. There is future potential to progress into a
Financial Adviser role.
