We are looking for an experienced, personable, passionate, and inspiring Reception Trainer to join our team. The Reception Trainer’s role is to assist in the effective daily running of the reception, providing exceptional levels of guest care and ensuring the reception team follows by example. A high level of both spoken and written English is required.

The advertised wage is inclusive of a basic wage of £12.30 per hour, plus anticipated tronc of £6.83 per hour.

While experience as a Reception Supervisor is preferred, it is not essential.

About the role of Reception Trainer

As a Reception Trainer you will be responsible for being a role model to our junior team members, welcoming guests and managing our reservation system in a fast-paced environment. This is a challenging and very rewarding role, involving interaction with every single guest, helping to ensure that each person who crosses our door has a truly unique experience with us.

Often the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll need to have a strong presence and warming character whilst working well under pressure. Duties will include:

  • Supervising, motivating, coaching and helping to develop the reception team so they work in an efficient and collective manner, highlighting any concerns and issues regarding performance and behaviour of the team to the Senior Manager's.
  • Adapting language and service style to suit the guest, whilst always presenting yourself as professional, friendly and polite.
  • Maximising potential sales through effective allocation of bookings and walk-ins.
