Summary
Turkey Pluckers Wanted
We are a family farm which does Christmas turkeys.
We start plucking on Monday 24/11/2025 and will be plucking everyday in till
09/12/2025
80% of the feathers are removed by a machine then the remaining 20% are
removed by our pluckers.
Payment is £3/bird. Therefore flexible hours.Last year's plucker averaged 25
- 55 turkeys/day.
We are based just outside Chagford. 30 mins from Exeter. 20 mins from
Okehampton.
