Summary

Acorn by Synergie is looking for a Quality Controller on behalf of their client, a Manufacturing Site in Plymouth.

Quality Controller will be responsible for:

1) day-to-day Inspections and Testing
2) Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure they align with established quality control policies and procedure

The role will be Monday - Friday
Shifts:
Rotating shifts: Week one: 6am - 2pm, Week 2: 8am - 4pm, Week 3: 2pm - 10pm
You must be able to work all shifts to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure they align with established quality control policies and procedures.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain, calibrate, and ensure the accuracy of measuring and testing equipment used for quality control.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes comply with relevant internal standards, legal regulations, and industry-specific requirements
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback and data to help managers and quality assurance teams improve processes and systems for better overall quality.

What we're looking for:

* Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or a warehouse.
* Understanding of SOPs, PWIs and all QA/QC related functions.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practise and Good Laboratory Practise.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills.
