Nursery Room Leader – Baby Room | From £30,000
Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their team in a beautiful Montessori-inspired nursery setting. This role offers the chance to lead a baby room within a supportive, values-led service rated Good by Ofsted.
If you’re an experienced Deputy Room Leader, Room Leader, or a highly skilled Nursery Practitioner ready to take the next step, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Deputy Room Leader, Room Leader, or strong Nursery Practitioner.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A warm, approachable, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Support the development, wellbeing, and learning of each child in line with the EYFS framework.
- Supervise, guide, and motivate a small team of practitioners.
- Work closely with families to build strong, positive relationships.
- Maintain accurate records, planning, and observations.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
