Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you thrive on supporting students to overcome barriers, build resilience, and flourish? We are looking for a committed and caring Pastoral Leader to join our supportive and experienced team at Lift Clacton.
This is a rewarding role focused on student wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding. You'll take the lead on pastoral care for Year 9, working closely with senior leaders, families, and external agencies to ensure all students feel supported, safe, and successful in school.

- Have experience motivating young people and maintaining high expectations
- Are confident using data to monitor trends and inform early intervention
- Can de-escalate challenging situations and build trusted relationships with students and families
- Have strong communication skills and a calm, resilient approach
- Are passionate about inclusion, safeguarding, and making school a place where all students can thrive

Lift Clacton is a rapidly improving school at the heart of the community and recently achieved 'Good' (June 2024). The school has experienced significant growth and improvement with student numbers now over 1,500.
