Summary
Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Abercarn
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation (Days, Afternoons & Nights) + 1 Saturday per month, with flexibility for additional weekend work or cover
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our client at Abercarn. You will work in a dynamic engineering environment, supporting the Operations Team to maintain and improve machine reliability, efficiency, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve faults on processing equipment and ancillary devices.

Monitor, adjust, and optimize equipment and process conditions to ensure high-quality output.

Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and routine safety checks to maximize equipment utilization.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects.

Install, commission, and maintain new equipment.

Manage stock components efficiently.

Participate in required training programs.

Prioritize tasks effectively, working calmly under pressure.

Maintain adherence to all Health & Safety standards.

Undertake additional duties within capability as required.
Requirements:

Flexible and adaptable, willing to travel for site visits and training.

Valid driver's license.

Willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol testing.

Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality and safety.
