An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Bayview House Care Home in Thurso as a Social Care Worker on a fixed term basis. At Bayview, we put the residents at the heart of everything we do and each colleague within the care home plays a key role in how we support our residents.

The post is responsible for leading a team to support vulnerable adults in a residential setting and to contribute to the movement and treatment of clients to maximise their physical comfort.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.

This is a Fixed Term 18.5 hours per week post to October 2026 working as per service requirements.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Heath and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
