The successful candidate will be home-based, travelling across the region to complete both planned and reactive maintenance.

Regional Maintenance Engineer Role:

As a Regional Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining a network of ANPR, signage, and smart-parking hardware. Using a blend of remote monitoring and on-site diagnostics, you'll ensure technology continues to operate efficiently, minimising downtime and maximising customer experience.

Regional Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain ANPR cameras, signage, poles, power, and related hardware.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections and proactive service visits.
• Respond to reactive faults and attend breakdowns within SLA timeframes.
• Use remote platforms to identify issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and support teams to ensure service excellence.
• Maintain ISO-compliant documentation, reporting, and technical records.
• Support wider engineering projects including installations, signage, and upgrades.

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

• Proven background in maintenance or engineering within ANPR, CCTV, parking, or smart infrastructure (or similar)
• Strong technical and diagnostic skills with ability to use remote monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Health & Safety standards (RAMS, PPE, Working at Height).
• High IT literacy (Microsoft Office; data reporting tools desirable).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
• DBS check required.

Desirable:

• Experience with Power BI, SQL, or advanced reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of ISO compliance documentation and reporting.

Regional Maintenance Engineer Key Attributes:

• Proactive and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and accountable, with excellent attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, with ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

If you're ready to take on a varied and rewarding role as a Regional Maintenance Engineer, we'd love to hear from you.
