Summary
Permanent 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start
Location: Lydiate, Merseyside
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school community in Lydiate.
This is a permanent position supporting a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience working with children with SEN (essential)
- A nurturing, patient and proactive approach to learning support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's individual needs
- Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
