About this opportunity:
Are you naturally curious, passionate about solving analytical problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? If you're driven to make a meaningful impact on the businesses we support, this could be the opportunity for you.
Our Finance team acts as the analytical partner to Retail - the largest division within Lloyds Banking Group. In this role, you'll work closely with Senior Finance Business Partners and the business to deliver analysis and insight across the full financial P&L. Your work will help drive challenge, enable better decision-making, and help shape the strategic direction of the businesses we support.
We're currently recruiting a Finance Analytics Manager to join our Cards, Loans, and Embedded Finance Analytics team - supporting some of the UK's leading unsecured lending products. This is a high-impact role where you'll help shape product performance, customer outcomes, and strategic decisions through data-driven insight.
Day to Day, you will:
-
Partner with Senior Finance Business Partners to deliver insightful analysis across the full P&L for Cards, Loans, and Embedded Finance products.
-
Support our Planning and Reporting Finance team with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, through storyboarding and insights.
-
Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to influence decision-making and drive commercial outcomes.
-
Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and ensure alignment with financial strategy.
-
Support the development of business cases and investment appraisals for new initiatives.
-
Take ownership of your own personal development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Why Lloyds Banking Group:
Join us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you'll enjoy a fulfilling career where you're free to be yourself. Great colleagues, transforming workspaces, hybrid working and a wide variety of career opportunities - you'll find them all here.
What you'll need:
-
Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in a financial analysis role.
-
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience in interpreting complex data and presenting clear insights.
-
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial information effectively.
-
Being able to take ownership and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across teams.
-
Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
