Apprenticeship:
The apprentice will complete a Print technician, Specialising in Post press equipment Level 3 (A level) with the BPIF. The apprentice brief is:
To train so that you can operate print finishing equipment ensuring the output meets customer expectations and standards. You will learn about the Print industry and then specialise in post press equipment. The units covered include.
• Health & safety, environmental and sustainability
• Print industry and its markets
• Communication & Professionalism
• Problem Solving
• Waste Monitoring
• Workflow
• Record keeping
• Maintenance
• Quality Assurance
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• GCSE A-C/8-4 English and maths or equivalent grades
• Computer Literate, effective verbal communication.
