Job Purpose:
The Technical Sales Engineer will drive sales and market development for NSM Chemical Solutions’ products, building relationships with industrial clients and delivering technically informed solutions that meet client needs and exceed performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients in desalination, oil & gas, pulp & paper, and industrial cleaning sectors
• Provide technical guidance and consultative sales support to clients
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Support the company in expanding market share and promoting key products
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience in industrial chemical or technical sales preferred, but motivated newcomers with strong drive and technical aptitude are also welcome
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial processes
• Excellent communication and consultative selling skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
• Ability to manage key accounts and drive long-term client relationships
Commission & Incentives:
• Commission-only role – no fixed salary
• Base commission of 5% on net sales
• Tiered bonuses up to 10% for exceeding monthly or quarterly targets
• Recurring commissions on repeat orders and long-term client accounts
• Additional incentives for securing key accounts or entering new markets
Freedom & Flexibility:
Manage your own territory, plan your schedule, and make strategic sales decisions while driving results.
Training & Support:
Prior experience in chemical/technical sales is preferred for minimal onboarding, but highly motivated individuals with strong learning ability and passion for sales are also encouraged to apply.
