Summary
Ensuring all management accounting duties are fulfilled for R&D (Discovery) Division including annual budget-setting process, in-year monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis. Training, advising, and supporting budget holders in their financial responsibilities Supporting Principal Investigators by securing funding for the research projects, and financial oversight of their projects from inception to close-down Line management of Management Accountant and trainee Management Accountant Ensuring all external reporting requirements are met, including meeting deadlines that are sometimes challenging Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including DHSC, NIHR, NHS Trusts, Universities, charities and other funders
