Job Purpose: The Highland Council is looking to recruit a Technical Assistant/Senior Technical Assistant to support their civil engineering design teams based in Osprey House. The roll encompasses both general office management and working with technical staff to fulfil statutory requirements and provide general support for civil engineering projects. This may for example include assisting with topographical surveys, amending technical drawings and assisting with financial monitoring. The successful applicant will be a team player by nature with good communication skills.

Requirements

Technical Assistant HC05

  • Higher Qualifications in Maths and English
  • Proven organisational skills in an office environment

Senior Technical Assistant HC06

  • At least 7 years relevant experience, preferably in a civil engineering environment
  • Proven organisational skills in an office environment
