Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join Alliance Homes in a brand-new role as a Tenancy Officer, dedicated to managing our entire portfolio of age restricted and specialist housing. This is a unique chance to shape how we deliver services in this area from the ground up — building strong relationships with customers, creating robust processes, and making a lasting difference in our communities.

As this is a new role, you will play a key part in establishing and embedding our approach to age restricted and specialist housing, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop best practice and ensure our customers receive excellent support. This role will be site-based and customer-focused, requiring regular visits to our properties to provide a visible presence and proactive tenancy management.

You will:

Manage complex tenancy issues throughout the tenancy, finding practical solutions in partnership with other teams.
Be a trusted point of contact for customers, ensuring they understand their tenancy and feel supported in their home.
Take the lead in shaping processes and ways of working across specialist housing, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service.
Support customers at key points, from the start of their tenancy through to moving on, ensuring every stage is managed with care and professionalism.
About you:

You will have experience in Housing Management and a good knowledge of housing legislation, policy and practice. An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, you will be confident in building trust with customers and colleagues. With strong organisational and time management skills, you will be comfortable managing a busy caseload and developing effective ways of working.

As this role is predominantly on site with our customers, you will need a full driving licence and access to a car.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated by making a difference, thrives on responsibility, and is excited about the challenge of developing a new role that will shape the future of specialist housing at Alliance Homes.
