Summary
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and attention to detail who is looking to develop their finance career within a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities of Finance Assistant:
- Raise sales invoices accurately and promptly, while managing billing enquiries professionally.
- Assist payroll colleagues in processing weekly payroll across all departments.
- Maintain purchase ledger records, ensuring all financial processing is accurate and timely.
- Assess customer credit applications, monitor payments, and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Produce and develop weekly and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of management accounts when required.
Essential:
- Confident with IT systems, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.
- Strong administrative skills and experience in maintaining detailed records.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
- Desirable:
- Previous finance administration experience.
- Familiarity with Pegasus Opera 3 (Payroll and Accounts).
- Experience producing financial documentation using IT systems.
