Summary

Role Purpose: To ensure all engineering projects and products meet defined quality standards, while effectively planning and coordinating production or project activities to optimize efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control:

o Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures for products and processes.

o Conduct inspections at various stages of production, including incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product verification.

o Identify non-conformances and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

o Maintain accurate QC documentation, including reports, audits, and compliance records.

2. Planning & Coordination:

o Create detailed project or production plans to ensure timely delivery of products or services.

o Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to align schedules, resources, and quality requirements.

o Monitor project progress, adjust plans as necessary, and ensure adherence to deadlines and standards.

3. Technical Support:

o Review technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards to ensure compliance.

o Provide guidance and training to staff on quality procedures and best practices.

o Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and safety.

4. Compliance & Safety:

o Ensure all engineering outputs comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety requirements.

o Participate in audits and inspections, addressing any issues or recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or relevant field).

· Proven experience in quality control, production planning, or project coordination.

· Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and engineering standards.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and documentation skills.
