Summary

Some of the key tasks that you will need to deliver as part of this role include: Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients come first. Undertake a range of delegated clinical care duties to deliver agreed plans of care, acting on own initiative. Mentor and support new to care and Health Care Support Workers on the carecertificate and to be a buddy to any new starters. To ensure that patients receive high quality clinical care and experience an excellentpatient experience whilst using our Trust services, respecting customs, and religiousbeliefs at all times. Recognise and avoid situations that may be detrimental to the health and wellbeing ofthe individuals. To care for enhanced care observation patients as required, under the TrustsAssessment, Observation and 1:1 Engagement for General Adults, Children andYoung People Policy. This may involve fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of aMental Health Care Assistant delivering enhanced care observation, once MHCArelated training study days have been attended. To act as an advocate for patients within the department, to ensure a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care and to meet standards within the NHS Plan and other relevant guidelines.
