Summary
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team in Braintree. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to enjoy their evenings free while working with a simple, fresh menu in a supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Preparing and cooking our daytime menu to a consistent standard.
Working mainly Monday to Thursday, 8.00am – 4.00pm, with only one weekend shift per month.
Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen – from prep to service.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organisation.
Working both independently and alongside a small, friendly team.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a chef or cook in a café, restaurant, or catering setting.
A passion for good, honest food and delivering a great customer experience.
Someone who is self-motivated, tidy, and able to manage their time well.
A positive, team-player attitude.
