Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee kitchen and bedroom installation projects once they’ve been sold. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with a strong background in the kitchen trade who’s looking to step away from full-time installation work but still stay actively involved in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Carry out detailed on-site surveys before work begins
Book and schedule installers (joiners, plumbers, electricians, etc.)
Liaise with installers to ensure work runs smoothly and to schedule
Perform quality spot checks during installation
Act as the main point of contact for the customer throughout the project
Report back to the business owner on progress, issues, and completion
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in the kitchen industry, preferably with time spent “on the tools” as an installer
Previous experience in project management or site coordination
Strong understanding of the challenges installers face, with the ability to problem-solve effectively
Excellent communication and people skills – able to build trust with both customers and tradespeople
A practical, organised, and reliable approach
Full driving licence and own transport
What we offer:
Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
Flexible working with site visits across Derby & Nottingham
The chance to use your trade knowledge in a new way, supporting a growing local business with a reputation for quality
