PA required for up to 6 hours per week for sociable, friendly 23 year old young woman with mild learning disabilities living in Bishopston (BS7).
Main Duties
Support with accessing the community and increasing independence e.g. eating out, taking to and taking part in fun activities/ sports of the young person's choice, going to the cinema.
Personal Qualities and Attributes
- Able to act in an understanding, patient, trustworthy, calm and non judgemental manner
- Have a confident, fun, enthusiastic and outgoing personality
- Experience of working with young people with learning disabilities
- Able to support young person with maintaining expectations and communication boundaries
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to use them when required.
Essential Requirements
- Able to provide references
- Enhanced DBS check
Desirable Requirements
-Clean UK driving license and own car/ use of car
