What skills and experience we're looking for

Required from 1st January 2025, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of Business and Economics to join a successful team. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive CPD and support to take advantage of development opportunities and progression in this popular and rapidly growing department.

The Humanities faculty is a large and highly successful team of specialist staff teaching History, Geography, Religious Studies, Business, Sociology, Politics, and Economics.

Our Business Department consistently excels at both GCSE and A-Level, delivering outstanding results year after year. Economics is offered at Key Stage 5, where in 2025, an impressive 70% of students achieved A*- B. Under the leadership of a dedicated and hardworking Head of Department, our committed team of teachers provides high-quality, inclusive instruction tailored to every learner. Many A-Level students go on to become Ashmole Scholars, undertaking further comprehensive research, extending their understanding and passion for the subject.
