Your new role
As Land Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-development process, supporting land acquisition and appraisal activities across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire, and Bedfordshire.Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed land cost appraisals and site-specific take-offs
  • Liaising with Commercial, Technical, and Engineering teams to explore alternative site strategies
  • Analysing planning and technical documentation to inform appraisals
  • Producing reliable forecasts and cash flows to support investment decisions
  • Presenting appraisal overviews to senior stakeholders ahead of bid submissions
  • Monitoring market costs and technologies to ensure competitive and accurate estimations


What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring at least 2 years' experience in the construction sector, with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of land appraisal processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with COINS software is advantageous. You'll be self-motivated, well-organised, and confident working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
