Location: Oxford (onsite)
Contract: 12 months (potential extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay Rate: £16.77 per hour PAYE / £22.44 per hour Umbrella

We are seeking a Customer Logistics Manager to coordinate the operation of a product area within the Material Management Division. You'll act as the main point of contact for suppliers and customers, supporting senior management and driving continuous improvement in logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the functioning of a specific product area or platform in the Material Management Division.
- Support senior management in achieving divisional and company targets.
- Develop, maintain, and improve relationships with supply chain partners and customers.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness in all business activities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Authorise business transactions, quotations, purchase orders, and charging instructions.
- Act as the main contact for supplier and customer inquiries, attending meetings and advocating for the customer internally.
- Identify and resolve supply issues, ensuring customers are fully informed.
- Maintain departmental administrative systems and provide accurate documentation.
- Support and promote continuous improvement programmes.
- Support customs clearance elements and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Provide regular progress reports to Team Leaders.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Team player with a positive, self-motivated, and flexible attitude.
- Able to handle stress and approach challenges positively.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems (desirable).
- Knowledge of UK customs/export regulations and compliance (desirable).
- French and/or German language skills (desirable).
