Summary

Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager seeking a vibrant and dynamic workplace? A highly successful Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham is looking for a skilled professional to join their city centre team. This role offers the chance to work closely with one of the Directors on a significant programme of works for a nationwide leisure client, managing 4-5 projects concurrently at various stages, with values ranging from £100k to £1.5m.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in chairing project meetings, agreeing the scope of works with the client, and managing specifications with framework contractors. Acting as the primary client liaison, you will oversee projects from inception through to snagging, completion, and handover. Given the national scope of the client, travel to sites across the country is required, with occasional overnight stays.

This largely autonomous role demands a seasoned Project Manager capable of taking client instructions, leading projects, and challenging where necessary. Experience in a client-facing role is essential. Candidates with a background in managing fast-paced refurbishment or fit-out programmes are highly desirable. Additionally, experience from a client-side or consultancy background, with a comprehensive understanding of the full project life-cycle, is sought after.

Joining the Birmingham team means becoming part of a successful and enjoyable workplace. The consultancy boasts a well-established client base and offers an attractive remuneration package, including ample potential to earn a substantial annual bonus. This role is perfect for a Project Manager looking to make a significant impact within a supportive and thriving environment.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to a dynamic team, this role could be the perfect fit.
