CaretakerPermanent 42 weeks (Term time plus 4 weeks)This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026Pay Grade: P5 – P6 £25,583 - £25,989 pro rata£13,101 - £13,309 Actual part time salaryJoin Our Team: School Caretaker VacancyWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Caretaker to join our welcoming and dynamic team at St Saviour’s Infant and Junior Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of School to ensure the effective upkeep and smooth running of both school sites, which are conveniently located next to each other.This is a vital role in helping maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for our pupils and staff. We are proud of our beautiful school grounds and are looking for someone who will take pride in caring for and enhancing our learning spaces.
Key Responsibilities:• Support the Head Of School in the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school premises.• Carry out a variety of tasks to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the school buildings and grounds.• Take an active role in site improvement projects and ongoing maintenance.
We are looking for someone who: • Is hands-on and able to develop, implement, and maintain systems and procedures.• Is environmentally conscious and committed to sustainable practices.• Has practical skills and experience in DIY and general maintenance.• Communicates effectively and works well with school staff and external contractors.
