Summary

Job OverviewEast Park Primary School is seeking to appoint an Achievement Support Assistant (primarily linked to pupils with an Education Health Care Plan – EHCP), on a fixed term basis, to join a friendly, caring, dedicated team who are committed to providing a high-quality education for the pupils in their care.Contract and Salary Details:Hours: 22.75 hours per week, term time only (190 days)Salary: Grade 4, scp 5 - 7, £13,224 - £13,648 actual salary per annumJob Requirements:The successful candidate will:
Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needsPromote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with school procedures encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviourSupport the academic, social, emotional and development of individuals and groups of pupils, understanding clearly how pupils learnProvide effective support to maximise attainment and accelerate the progress of individuals and groups of pupilsAssist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes when necessaryProvide feedback to pupils in relation to progress towards academic, social, behavioural and learning skillsLiaise closely with appropriate staff in relation to safeguarding, behaviour, SEND needs and wellbeing issuesProvide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils' attainment, progress, behaviour and attitudes to learningFurther information regarding the post can be found in the job description and person specification.Why choose East Park Primary?
