This established village pub in the Wetherby area is looking for a new Head Chef as their current Head Chef is stepping up to a GM role. This Yorkshire chain can offer you the opportunity to make your mark in this kitchen:
- Freedom in menu writing including seasonal specials
- Stock management and ordering
- Supervision of chefs and kitchen porters
- Preparing food, cooking to order and running service
- Responsible for completion of kitchen paperwork and adherence to legislation
- Generally working Wednesday to Sunday, 45 hours per week however part time hours could also be considered
We would expect the successful Head Chef to have kitchen management experience and a creative flair. A good understanding of maintaining GP would be beneficial and an ambitious attitude.
This would be an ideal role if you are a Head Chef ready for a change or if you are a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef ready to take on your first Head Chef role in West Yorkshire
You will be working for a Yorkshire based chain with a management team that have progressed through the industry. You will enjoy mentorship and further opportunities such as supporting other sites.
