Are you an experienced and passionate Maths teacher looking for your next leadership role? A thriving secondary school in Hereford (HR2) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Head of Maths to join their team from January on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
As Head of Maths, you will lead a committed department, drive academic excellence, and inspire students across all key stages. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of curriculum development, staff mentoring, and data-led progress strategies within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Maths across Key Stages 3–4
• Previous leadership or management experience within a Maths department (preferred)
• A passion for education and a commitment to raising standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
