Summary
LGV Sweeper Driver - Public Open Space
Initial salary between £26283 and £27800 per annum
37 hours per week on a rota over 7 day a week
Based in King’s Lynn
We are looking for a motivated team member to join our Public Open Space Team as an LGV Sweeper Driver. If you already hold a full category C UK driving licence and a valid Driver CPC and would like to keep your community clean and safe we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team.
In this hands-on role, you will help keep our streets, highways and open spaces clean and safe and welcoming for everyone. Duties include both mechanical and manual sweeping of kerb lines, pedestrian areas and public spaces. You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions, so a proactive and resilient attitude is key. You will also play a key part in vehicle upkeep, documentation, and supporting wider operations when needed.
You will have effective communication skills, the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team and take pride in delivering high standards of work. You should also have a solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation and Road Traffic Regulations and be committed to maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our community.
