£46,000 to £52,000 Salary DOE + 20 Days Holiday + Pension

Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 14:30 Finish

General Manager required for an expanding asphalt manufacturing company who have been going from strength to strength over the last few years. This is a great opportunity to join an industry specialist and play an integral role in the growth.

This role would suit an experienced manager however experienced supervisors looking for progression are also encouraged to apply.

The General Manager will oversee a team of five and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the production activities, ensuring that operations are carried out to a high standard, in line with H&S policies and in line with schedules.

The General Manager Role:

· Day to day management of production activities across the plant

· Coordination of deliveries of raw materials

· Maintain quality standards

· Leadership and development of a team of 5

· Oversee H&S across the plant

· Process improvements across the site

· Oversee repair of equipment on site and PPMs

· Days based hours Monday to Friday

The General Manager Candidate:

· Experienced manager or supervisor looking to progress

· Experience in asphalt, aggregates, similar

· Knowledge of H&S, UKCA, ISO 14001, 9001 & 45001
