Summary
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised Construction Instructor/Technician to join our thriving team at the Construction Skills Centre, Abingdon Campus. As our department continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated individual passionate about working in the education sector and supporting students in developing practical construction skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the workshop to develop students' practical skills
- Supervise students during practical sessions
- Order materials and manage stock levels
- Carry out general duties to maintain high workshop standards
- Work effectively as part of a team
Essential Experience:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a recognised construction trade
- Willingness to support across plumbing, electrical installation, and wood trades (training provided)
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working in the education sector
