The Schools:

Our partner schools are inclusive and diverse, fostering a safe and inspiring environment where children are supported to reach their full potential. With excellent leadership and strong values, these schools aim to equip every child with the knowledge, confidence, and resilience to succeed in the next stage of their education.

The Role – KS2 Supply Teacher (Years 3 to 6):

We are recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS required) to deliver high-quality learning across the Key Stage 2 phase, with a particular focus on:

Year 5: Laying solid foundations for Year 6 by identifying gaps, building confidence in core subjects, and introducing SATs-style questioning and formats.
Year 6: Delivering targeted SATs preparation in Reading, SPaG, and Maths, using structured revision techniques, mock assessments, and booster interventions to secure pupil progress.
• Supporting the transition to secondary school, equipping pupils with strong independent learning habits, emotional readiness, and personal organisation skills.

This role is ideal for teachers seeking daily, short-term, or long-term placements, including maternity cover, sickness leave, or SATs booster programmes.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience in upper KS2
• Be confident in delivering targeted SATs preparation for Year 6 and pre-SATs development in Year 5
• Use data-driven teaching strategies to close learning gaps and stretch high-attaining pupils
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge in English and Maths
• Build strong relationships with pupils to boost confidence, engagement, and motivation
• Have a deep understanding of transition support and how to prepare pupils for the expectations of secondary school
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a calm, positive classroom presence
• Adapt to different school settings while maintaining high expectations and consistency

We Offer:

Flexible work to suit your availability and preferences
• A variety of roles across Academies, Trusts, Independent, and Local Authority schools
• Supportive school environments with strong leadership and established routines
Opportunities to lead SATs booster sessions or transition workshops in Year 5/6
• A dedicated local recruitment consultant who understands the Coventry primary education landscape
• Continued support and professional development
