Summary
Service Manager - Improvement
Role: Improvement Manager
Salary: £420 per day
Job Type: Full time, Temporary
Hours: 9am to 5pm
About the Role:
As an improvement manager, you will lead a targeted improvement programme for Children in Care and Care Experienced Service, which have been identified as requiring intensified support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Work across both service areas
* Drive improvement when vulnerabilities are most acute
* Deliver structure programmes for service improvement
* Stay aligned with practice standards and expectations
* Ensure recommendations for Peer Reviews are fully progressed and embedded into day-to-day practice
Who We Are Looking For:
* Education: Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
* Licenses: Social Work England registered
* Experience: Minimum 3 years post qualified experience in direct employment with an English Local Authority
Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong case management and problem-solving ability
* Resilience and empathy when working with complex cases
* Proactive team player who values safeguarding and empowerment
