Summary

Link Education are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in supportive and inclusive secondary schools across Bromley Area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in the classroom, whether you have experience or are looking to start a career in education.
About the Role:
As an SEN TA in a secondary setting, your role will involve:
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), and learning difficulties
• Assisting students in a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and more
• Supporting emotional regulation, confidence, and classroom engagement
• Implementing EHCP targets under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff
• Promoting independence while creating a calm and respectful learning environment
• Assisting with transitions, de-escalation and behaviour management where required
Requirements:
• Experience working with young people with SEN (in education, care, or youth settings)
• A calm, adaptable and professional attitude
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
Ideal for:
• Experienced SEN or Learning Support Assistants
• Graduates in Psychology, Education, or Youth Work
• Aspiring teachers, SENCOs or Educational Psychologists
• Youth workers, behaviour mentors, or care workers transitioning into education
