Summary
Step Teachers are working with a Secondary School in Suffolk to find a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving department on an ongoing temporary basis beginning in January 2026, covering the Maternity leave for an existing member of staff.

Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and assess effectively to ensure all pupils make strong progress.
Support the development of numeracy across the curriculum.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
A commitment to inclusive education and student achievement.
