This is a full-time role, working 37 hours a week on a maternity cover basis.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Day to day duties of the role

  • Support the provision of an Exams Helpdesk providing cover as the primary point of contact when the Exams Helpdesk apprentice is unavailable.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to the Exams Helpdesk Apprentice in the provision of outstanding customer service as well as professional, timely and accurate responses to enquiries through the provision of clear and accurate information.

  • Supporting the Exams Helpdesk Apprentice to identify opportunities to gain experience and evidence for their apprenticeship.

  • Prioritise, allocate to team members and follow up completion of emails received into the central Exams inbox.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent IT skills including knowledge and experience in using spreadsheets.
  • Significant relevant and recent experience in an administrative environment.

  • Ability to review and evaluate complex material and data.
